1. Acceptance of Terms

By using PetPortrait AI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

PetPortrait AI generates custom AI portraits of your pet (and optionally, you with your pet) from photos you upload. You receive a one-time set of digital images for personal use.

3. Acceptable Use — Content Restrictions

You agree to upload only appropriate content. The following are strictly prohibited:

• NSFW, pornographic, or sexually explicit content — including but not limited to nudity, sexual acts, or erotic imagery. This applies to both uploaded photos and requested portrait styles.
• Content depicting violence, gore, or animal cruelty.
• Content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or discriminatory.
• Content that infringes on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• Uploads of anyone under 18 years of age for Owner+Pet portraits.

All uploaded images are screened by automated content moderation before processing. Orders containing prohibited content will be cancelled and refunded. Repeated violations may result in permanent account suspension.

4. Content Moderation

We integrate content moderation APIs to automatically screen all uploaded images. Images flagged as inappropriate will not be processed. This ensures a safe environment for all users and compliance with platform policies.

5. Photos You Upload

You confirm that you own the photos you upload or have permission to use them. You grant PetPortrait AI a temporary license to process your photos solely to generate your portraits. Photos and generated images are deleted automatically. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Payment & Refunds

Payment is processed securely by Creem. We offer a money-back guarantee — if you are not satisfied with your portraits, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. Refunds are not available if you have already downloaded all generated portraits, except where the content was defective.

7. Limitation of Liability

PetPortrait AI is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for your order.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
